  • Our School
Hayward Primary School is a great place for children to start their formal education. Our energetic, lively staff loves to have a lot of fun while providing hands-on, developmentally appropriate learning activities. Our school has an accepting, warm, caring environment for our youngest students.

    Required Classes
Your child will be enrolled in a classroom of 18 or less students, with their core curriculum being taught by one teacher. Other classes your child will be taking at this level include: Art, Music, Phy.Ed, Computer Lab, Ojibwe Culture, and Library. We also offer intervention and enrichment programs and activities for all students.

    Picking up Students at Dismissal:
Parents who pick up their children after school are asked to wait for them in the gym. Parents are not allowed in our hallways or at classroom doors at the end of the day until all students have been safely dismissed. This will ensure your child has a safe and smooth dismissal.

SchoolBlocks offers a unique and powerful personalized search system. A member of the public, searching for "homework" might see an announcement from the school as the first result. However, if the user is logged in, they would see their teacher’s latest homework assignment as the top result.
